Frequently Asked Questions

  • a) Sign up on line and/or visit the SYNERGY offices to register. If you sign up online, you must complete your registration at the Synergy Offices.

    b) You must be a resident of Castries Central or an elector registered in Castries Central.

    c) Prior to accessing our services, you are required to sign up for a Personal Development Programme (PDP). This will be tailored to suit you individually. You must start the PDP and complete at least six (6) weeks before you become eligible to participate in other programmes. You must continue to follow the PDP for as long as you continue to access our services.

  • All services are completely FREE. You are not required to pay for anything.

    However, prior to accessing our services you are required to sign up for a Personal Development Programme (PDP). And, to continue accessing our services, you must continue to work through your PDP (see above).

  • There is no age requirement. The PDP is for everyone including the very young, and the much older person; the employed and the un-employed. If you‘re under 16, you will need your parents’ consent to follow the PDP.

  • The minimum age requirement is 16 years. There is no maximum age requirement.

  • No. You need not be able to read and write. We will develop a PDP to meet your specific needs.

  • A Community Outreach Officer will be pleased to visit you as needed to develop and work through your PDP.

  • Our services are based on mutual trust and respect, and are delivered to the highest standards. Your information will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.

  • Your past is no barrier. We view your past as an opportunity to build your future. You are welcome to use our services. We are here to help you and support you.

  • As you progress through the PDP, you will earn points which you can use to acquire any of the goods or services which we offer. Points are not transferable.

  • We track our investment in your training and invite you to contribute the requisite number of service hours to needy residents or institutions in the community in your area of training. For e.g. you may be asked to donate your labour to repair a broken fixture at the Marian Home.

  • Yes. You must be a resident or elector of Castries Central to access our programmes or services. If you do not qualify, we will be happy to provide you with information on our programmes, but you will not be able to enroll or participate.
